Trieste is a town in north-east of Italy between Slovenia and Adriatic sea. It is one the oldest parts in Italy, and very interesting to visit and look around. Things to do in Triste are:

1. Castello di Miramare

Castello di Miramare is Trieste's neo-Gothic building of the Archduke Maximilian of Austria. Maximilian came to Trieste as the president of naval force of Austria. In his spare time, he decided to build a house on Miramare. While work was still in advancement, Maximilian was shot by a shooting squad. His wife, Princess Charlotte of Belgium, was so hit with distress that she used whatever is left of her life accepting Maximilian was still alive, and just quickly come back to inhabit Miramare. The house has remained same as always - rooms resembles to each other, with orientalist salons and a red silk-lined throne room. Suite of rooms utilized by the Anglophile military legend Duke Amadeo are also here.
