Things to do in Tápiószecső

Tápiószecső is a lovely place in the canton of Pest in Hungary. It is a very old village that was inhabited since prehistoric times.

Church of St. Nicholas was first mentioned in documents iz1264.godin. It was built in the Gothic style. By 1556 the church was owned by the family Bathory and after liberation from the Turks moved into the property Grassalkovich Anthony Nicholas Esterhazy. During the period 1785-179 church was gradually renovated from its original Gothic to Baroque. 1790 the church was consecrated in honor of St. Nicholas.
