1. Stolberg (Rheinland) Hauptbahnhof
The Stolberg Hauptbahnhof is partly due to the railway line Aachen-Köln. By regional train, the city is connected to Aachen, Eschweiler, Duke Rath, Merkstein, Alsdorf and Heerlen. Stolberg has a railway hub in the region, especially in the Aachen area.
3. Apostolic church
In addition to Catholic and Protestant churches are located in Stolberg an Apostolic church, a Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses and Muslim societies. Stolberg is one of 17 parishes. 1925, the Office of the Dean Stolberg was established. First dean was the pastor of St. Lucia Schmitz.
5. The Vennbahn museum
The Vennbahn museum near the train station Stolberg presents a permanent exhibition on the history of Vennbahn and a collection of railroad uniforms, signals and historical documents.
2. Cycle paths
The city of Stolberg is connected to a series of cycling routes. The 524 km long water castles route connects more than 130 castles on the edge of the Eifel and in the Cologne Bight. The green route to 370 km along the most beautiful natural areas between Beringen in Belgium, Heerlen in the Netherlands and in Germany Düren by one of the former largest coal spots in Europe.
4. Master Cemetery
Many buildings stand in the upper Stolberg old town, but also in the historical road in the district Breunig. Kuper Master cemetary was redeveloped in the 1970s and 1980s with the support of the State of North Rhine-Westphalia. The cemetery was created in 1686 on the Finkenberg, after a joint cemetery use had led to many disputes with the Catholics.
Stolberg is interesting place to see. People are very friendly here.
