Things to do and see in San Sebastian

Lying between the mountains and Urgull Igueldo and semicircular beach in a small bay, this town is one of the most elegant, peaceful and cultural sites in Spain. San Sebastian was founded as a maritime resort in the 19th century and was a remarkable place for rest and relaxation as it is today. The sumptuous palace "The Palacio de Miramar" testify about the history of this beautiful city, and was built by the Austrian queen.

This old Dominican monastery, founded in the 16th century and converted into a museum in 1932. The Museum presents a collection of Basque funeral stones and fingerprints on them from 15th - 17th century. in the museum you can see lots of interesting historical items, it is certainly worth a visit.
