1. Salvador Cidade Alta

City of Alta or "Upper Town" is a historic center of Salvador. 5. Basilica da Se

When you enter the Terreiro de Jesus on your right there is a huge basilica, built by the Jesuits between the 1657 and 1672. It is made of the noblest materials, gold, marble and wood from Portugal Jakaranda. The tricky mix of Baroque and Rococo style is present in this structure, the visit do not miss the attractive altar.

2. Igreja and Convento de São Francisco

It was built of wooden boards, with a thousand motives and pieces. The church interior is decorated in Baroque style, the art of the 18th century. Pictures on the ceiling are drawn by the famous artist, José Joaquim da Rocha, as well as sculptures of St. Peter made by Manoel Inácio da Costa, the church was flooded with exceptional art pieces!

4. Terreiro de Jesus

Terreiro de Jesus is a place where you will find the largest number of tourists in Salvador, Kapoera is being held here in front of a large population.
