Prescot is a town and part of the Metropolitan Borough of Knowsley in Merseyside, England. It lies eight miles to the east of Liverpool downtown area. It has population of over ten thousand people.

It was build on the site before the Norman Conquest. It dates from the fifteenth century and it was renovated at the beginning of seventeenth century. Tower was build afterwards.

Knowsley Safari Park is a zoological park and vacation destination and it is a part of British and Irish Association of Zoos and Aquariums. The recreation center was opened in 1971.Street through the recreation center was over five kilometers long, with guests driving past lions, zebras, elephants and many other animals. Tigers and bisons were added to the recreation center throughout the years. Fenced area is available as a parking zone.
