1. Bens Walk
Enjoy the views on the nearby river and a golf course in this walking track. The complete track takes about 5,5 km or 2 hours. There is also very short walking track that lasts only 10 minutes and it is great as a morning, refreshing walk. Bens Walk is accessible at all times if the weather is permitting. It is very interesting that in this area the suspension bridge has been constructed and it gives the access to Depot Farm Reserve and the picnic area.
3. Fleet Air Arm Museum
The Royal Australian Navy invites you to visit this museum and explore and discover the story of naval aviation from the history to the present days. One of the exhibitions is 'Wings Over Water' that gives Australian displays from the World War II but also foreign aircrafts. In the museum is also flight stimulator that provides virtual experience for kids and adults. Opening hours are from 10 am to 4 pm, tickets for adults are 10 dollars, for kids under 18 years old it's free.
This is Gothic revival timber house where four generations of women from the same family were living. Each generation has left many objects that tell interesting stories. Discover epic stories of Meroogal. Opening hours are on Saturdays from 10,30 am to 3,30 pm.
2. Bomaderry Aquatic Centre
It is open all year around and offers variety of programs for kids and adults, like aqua aerobics, squad learning and swim learning. There are number of pools, for example heated indoor and heated outdoor pools.
4. Grotto Walk
It is settled on the bank of Shoalhaven River. Access to The Grotto is steep at parts but it gives wonderful experience. In the area you can take a picnic and enjoy wonderful view. There are four lookouts at the top of the cliff and if you want to visit them all, you'll need 2 hours for that. The Grotto is accessible at all times.
Nowra is settled on the Shoalhaven River and also gives plenty of opportunities for fishing. Things to do in Nowra are new and different experience for the whole family.
