1. The remains of the monastery Sarvar ( Sarvar dombi monostor maradványai )
Sarvar The monastery is eight hundred meters northeast of Nagyecsed . The monastery and the castle Sarvar was created before the eleventh century. Sarvar The monastery was built in honor of St. Peter. Monastery functioned without problems until 1241, when it was conquered and destroyed by the Mongols . This building was completely renovated during the 1250th and 1251, but never regained former importance. Sarvar over time was gradually deserted and left to the ravages of time . The castle and village were also abandoned and the area turned into a swamp. Its ruins were rediscovered in 1794, during severe droughts .
3. Gallery Jozef Berej ( Berey Helytörténeti Gyűjtemény József és Galéria )
This building is like a summer house and it was built in 1927 . The building was originally used as a school. The museum was founded in 1988. The building consists of two permanent exhibition space for spectators and two small temporary exhibition galleries . In the museum there are two permanent exhibitions . The first exhibition of historical artifacts from this place . The second exhibition is an ethnographic exhibition . There you can find many items that were once used in the area were in the house or weaving , fishing , animal husbandry , and the like . In the galleries of the museum , visitors can see many other interesting items such as paintings , sculptures , photographs, lace ...
5. Monument I and World War II ( Világháborús emlékmű )
The monument is made of white marble and artificial stone. It is made of seven pieces of white marble and artificial stone pedestal. On the left is a section devoted to the heroes of World War II , while the right part belongs to the heroes of World War II .
2. Monument Rakoci ( Rákóczi emlékmű )
This memorial was set up in honor of Ferenc Rákóczi - I and work of sculptor Turul Gerenday and son from Budapest. The monument is four meters high with a square base of solid rock. At the bottom of the monument is a marble plaque on which is engraved family crest Rákóczi . At the top of the monument there is an eagle with wings spread to the claws holding a sword . This monument is located in the front garden of the local Protestant churches .
4. Industrial Museum - pumping station Villanytelep ( Villanytelep ipari műemlék )
This pump station has since 1987 turned into a tourist destination . It was built for the decontamination of water. This valuable industrial complex is still operational.
Nagyecsed is nice and cosey tourist destination. If you come here once, you will come here every year!
