1. Kairakuen Garden
Kairakuen Garden is one of Japan's Top 3 Gardens. It is known for thousands of plum trees, which blossom in February and March. It also has cedar trees and bamboo. While the sights inside the arrangement are very great in their own particular right, it also has a great view to Semba Lake and Park.
3. Tokiwa Jinja
It is located at the south of Kairakuen, open from 9:30 am to 15:30 pm. This extensive place is devoted to Mito family masters Tokugawa Mitsukuni.
5. Seizanso
Seizanso is last habitation of Edo era samurai Mitsukuni Tokugawa, where he existed into seniority in the wake of going around Japan as Mito Komon. This site offers a mixed bag of picturesque perspectives.
2. Kobuntei
Kobuntei is old-style samurai living arrangement on the grounds of Kairakuen. It is very well worth seeing, with its fine common woodwork and entryways.
4. Giretsukan
Giretsukan is gallery on the grounds of Tokiwa Jinja and it houses an enormous taiko drum, an aged expansive barrel gun on wooden wheels. Price is very affordable.
Mito also has Arts Foundation founded by the city in 1988 to remember Mito's 100th commemoration as a city in 1989. If you visit Mito, you will be delighted.
