1. Orchid Display House

This site was established in 1870 and is displayed in 11 hectare park. This is green oasis with tropical trees and astonishing lawns. You can take calming walk, for example along the avenue of palms or you can simply make a picnic under a fig tree. Admission is free an opening hours from Monday to Friday 10 - 11 am and 1 - 3 pm, Sunday 10 am - 2 pm and the Orchid House is closed on Saturdays and public holidays.

3. Artspace Mackay

The building was open in 2002 and since then has received many of rewords both for architecture and community service. It offers many exhibitions of social history and visual arts but also multi purpose venues for meetings, seminars and other events. It is very interesting that admission for this cultural site is free. On Mondays it is closed, from Tuesday to Friday opening hours are 10 am to 5 pm and on the weekends it is from 10 am to 3 pm.

It is open every day from 9 am to 5,45 pm, lagoon areas are up to 1,8 meters depth and the water slide has 19,5 meters. The place provides elderly and disabled access and also children's water playground.

There are 6 important sites along The Bluewater Trail, amongst them Catherine Freeman walk, Botanic Gardens, Iluka Park, Bluewater Quay Public Open Space. This is collaborative project and there is also one part of the trail that should be completed soon. This is place for the whole families and everybody can choose from their preferences, like walking, biking, sightseeing or art galleries visiting.
