Dallas Valley Ranch Camp is a year round camping and retreat center. Dallas Valley's camp site stretches across the east rim of the beautiful Boggy Creek Valley only a short 20 minute drive from Lumsden. Their Riding Club is the right way to make friends and learn horse care and riding skills. The students will learn about proper horse care, saddling and bridling, basic to higher-level riding, the various horse disciplines. They will also enjoy in many fun group horse games

3. St. Michael's Retreat

St. Michael's Retreat

St. Michael's Retreat was established in 1962. The site is owned by the Franciscans of Western Canada and operates through an Interchurch Board from Roman Catholic, Anglican and Lutheran communities. St. Michael's provides a great place for a variety of individuals and groups who use the centre for workshops and meetings. Their warm hospitality and excellent cuisine have become legendary. Visitor will discover their artwork, that is beautiful and that the whole atmosphere is welcoming and wonderful.

Beaver Creek Ranch is a working cattle ranch and training centre. Visitors will enjoy in the cowboy barbeques, horse rides through the valley and riding lessons for the beginners and also for advanced students.

2. Deer Valley Golf and Estates

Deer Valley Golf and Estates

Deer Valley Golf and Estates is a residential golf community located in the beautiful Qu'Appelle Valley. The club is built on 475 acres of natural prairie terrain. It is located near the town of Lumsden. Visitors will enjoy the safety and familiarity of this well-planned community. They offer lots of open space, panoramic views of the valley, nearby schools, shops and services, miles of walking trails and a cross country ski trail. Their championship golf course is designed to take advantage of the natural land.

4. Last Mountain House Provincial Historic Park

Last Mountain House Provincial Historic Park

Last Mountain House Provincial Historic Park is built on the site of a fur -trading post. The post was originally constructed in 1869 and burned down in the early 1870s. This post remained untouched and operational for almost one hundred years. The Regina Archaeological Society spent five years on this site in collecting artifacts and information about the post. Today, several buildings on the location are restored. They will show you the life on the post. They have men's house, master's house, barn warehouse, trade store and the ice house. One of the special attractions at the post is a copy of a journal kept by the Master of the post, Isaac Cowie.

Community is in the beautiful Qu'Appelle Valley, 30 km north-west of Regina.
