1. Boler Mountain
If you are for little adventure, this is the perfect place to come. Here you can ski and snowboard or attend snow school in winter months or experience mountain biking and fitness trails and even Treetop Adventure Park in summer months where adults and kids can experience the adrenaline rush. Entrance ticket depends of the activity visitors choose. Boler Mountain is usually open from 8 am until dusk.
3. Victoria park
The symbol of the park are squirrels and they inhabit it in a great numbers so if you are coming here don't forget to bring some nuts and other treats for this furry friends. There is even The Black Squirrel Festival that is held every autumn. There is also multi cultural festival called Sunfest. The park is surrounded by little shops and restaurants.
5. Westminster Ponds
The place has 11 km of managed trails and spread on about 200 hectares. There are many protected species, plants and animals, especially dragonflies and butterflies. This is the region where you must protect sensitive environment.
2. Eldon House
Welcome to the oldest surviving home in London that was built in 1834. It contains furnishings and heirlooms that belonged to the first owners, Amelia Harris and Captain John. Admission is by donating. This is the great example how life was back in Victorian era. There are few special tours and the settling is peaceful and idyllic.
4. Ska-Nah-Doht Village and Museum
The information you find here are gathered by First Nation people and archeologists so you can feel how it has been living in ancient times. The recreation of the village is of 1,000 years ago and there are also 18 outdoor exhibits. The place is usually called hidden gem.
Some archeological investigations suggest that aboriginal people resided the area for the past 10,000 years. Things to do in London in Canada are historic, but at the same time fun for the whole family.
