This is the city that is separated from the mainland with the rivers from the all sides so it's kind of island. Things to do in Laval in Quebec are interesting and fun, so come I enjoy the city.

1. Nature Centre

If you are looking for a day out with kids, this is the right place to be. It is family oriented park with artificial pond and several animals that kids will discover and enjoy. There are also spots for the picnic and educational parts. The best part is that the park is great both in winter and summer time. It is huge and, for example, in winter time visitors can enjoy cross country skiing. If it rains you can enjoy indoor garden with exotic flowers. What every activity you do here, you will remember it for years.

3. Cosmodome

Welcome to the place where you can learn about planets and space. There are permanent and temporary exhibitions with many space artifacts. The place also offers and opportunity for the space camp for kids 5 to 12 years old or to make a birthday party there. The centre tries to stimulate interest in space and everything connected with it, so be prepared for lots of knowledge and educational programs.

5. Musee Pour Enfants

There is plenty of space for a kid to play and it is suitable for younger kids, meaning not over 5 years old. This is actually more like a big playing ground then the museum. Kids can enjoy restaurant, boat, police car, cave, space ship and much more.

2. Mille - Iles River Park

Here you can rent a canoe or kayak in summer time or skate, ski and slide in winter. This is very quite and relaxing place where you can sit on the bench or stretch your legs in pathways. It is like an oasis that, once visited, will call you to come back again. You can enjoy the river slowly flowing by and learn about animals, plants and especially birds around.

4. Colossus Laval Movie Theater

The theater will remind you on space ship and it is very convenient for night owls, meaning the shows are little later then in other cinemas. Like in many other cinemas, the food is pretty expensive. The tickets are 12 dollars and you will get discount on Tuesdays, meaning you will pay 8 dollars for a ticket. Come and enjoy movies in this futuristic movie theater.
