Must do and see in Joliette

Joliette is a city in southwest of Quebec, 50 kilometers northeast of Montreal, on the L'assomption River and is the seat of the Regional County Municipality of Joliette. The city is home to the Joliette Art Museum.

Château Joliette is a place where you can rest nicely. Music is noisy on Fridays and Saturdays so make sure you have a distant room. The rooms are renovated. The staff is exceptionally helpfull. This is generally very pleasant inn.

Tekka Sushi is a bar where you can try shrimps as a canapé. Sushi are crisp and delicious and the menu is amazing. If you don't prefer sushi, there are so many new foods to try. It is an occupied spot to visit.

A cegep is one of the most established building of the north shore of Montreal. It's extremely great to go walk trought the old part. There are two parts of the building - the new and the old. The new is for the courses and the old is for tourists.

Motel Le Classique is so nice. The staff was pleasing and rooms is clean. The inn is near the park and ambulance. There's a cooler in the room too. It is a two-story plan motel.

4. Swimming pool

A brilliant swimming pool in the heart of town, at the begin of a tremendous park with bike tracks and near Assumption River. Here, there are kanu and kayak rental, many lunch rooms and rest rooms. There are seat's where you can rest and watch the birds.

Joliette has many francophone secondary schools and one anglophone secondary school as a part of Cégep régional de Lanaudiere. It was established as L'industrie by representative Barthélemy Joliette in 1823 and was fused as a city in 1863. The city's economy is very developed.
