1. Gallery Gifhorn (Mühlenmuseum Gifhorn)
The outdoors historical center in Gifhorn houses plants from the nations of the world. Plants are from Greece, France, Spain, Germany, Holland, Russia and more. You will feel spirit of some older times. Sanssouci plant is very famous here, it is an imitation of the renowned Potsdamer factory from the time of Frederick the Great. Subterrain factory is almost one and half a century old. Historical center is a mirror of development of this part of Germany.
3. Russian Orthodox church
The Russian Orthodox church on the site of the factory gallery Gifhorn is a reproduction of a Russian wooden church. Inside the church, there are displays of symbolic artistic creations.St. Nicholas is a standout amongst the most revered holy persons in Russia. The high tower of the Russian Orthodox wooden church is devoted to him.
5. European Liberty Bell
Symbol of Mill Museum is over fifteen meters high and stands on a region of twenty square meters. It helps people to remember fall of the Iron Curtain. On the ten-ton bronze ringer of European Liberty Bell, the pictures of Mikhail Gorbachev, George Bush Sr., Helmut Kohl and Gyula Horn can be seen.
2. Chimes Palace
Chimes Palace is impressive gallery and display building. It has collections from East and West, and it is build in religious design and a tribute to the life works of Mikhail Gorbachev and Albert Schweitzer. Mikhail Gorbachev is patronage of this building. Royal residence is in a square shae and has three stories. Towers belong to Russian wooden structural engineering. The building is found in the open territory before the plant gallery.
4. Gifhorn Castle
Gifhorn Castle is a stronghold erected somewhere around 1540. It was build in Renaissance style. The palace is surrounded with canals and bastions. It was the Residence of the Duchy of Gifhorn under Duke Francis of Brunswick-Lüneburg.
Gifhorn is similar to no other city. You will be amazed with its architecture and buildings.
