1. HMAS Sidney memorial
This is magnificent memorial and it is premier site in Australia for honoring 645 Australian sailors who got lost during the World War II battle with the German raider in 1941. The memorial features five elements that are actually symbols of the battle, for example 645 silver seagulls represent each lost sailor. Here you can take 30 minutes walking tours with the volunteer tour guides and tours start at 10,30 am every day. Also, every year on November 19th is held memorial service.
