Genoa is the city in the north western Italy in the Liguria region. With its six hundred thousand and eleven thousand inhabitants, Genoa is the capital of Liguria region and the sixth largest city in Italy. The town is located on the banks of Genoa bay. This is a very ancient town. It is thought that the city was established by the Celts in sixth century before Christ.

This church was built between the ninth and the tenth centuries on the top of the hill Sarzano. Inside, visitors can see the economic power of Genoa and the patronage of the most influential families in various parts of this religious complex. Today it is used as a museum with works of great art value. The frescoes of the Annunciation and the Virgin Mary are the best known artifacts in this complex.

Palazzo Ducale is the former headquarters of the urban magistrates. It was built in the twelfth century and it has been renovated many times.
