1. Piazza della Signoria and Palazzo Vecchio
Florence's most popular square is Piazza della Signoria, the heart of the city and essential statue display. The piazza is also political center since the medieval times. There is also a private condos, boutiques and restaurants.
3. The Baptistery
The Baptistery of John the Baptist is one of Florence's most visited structures. It has three sets of astonishing bronze entryways. Inside, there are mosaics and a marble asphalt of the zodiac signs. It is open from 12:00 to 7:00 every day.
5. Ponte Vecchio
The Ponte Vecchio (old extension) was Florence's first scaffold over the Arno River and is the main surviving extension from Florence's medieval days. It has magnificent view.
2. Il Duomo - Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore
Florence's famous site is Il Duomo, the Cattedrale de Santa Maria del Fiore. Gothic duomo was started in 1296 and blessed in 1436. Its surface is made of green, pink, and white marble.
4. Campanile - Bell Tower
The Campanile is settled in Piazza del Duomo. The primary story was planned by Giotto and it was called Giotto's Campanile. Purchase a ticket and trip the 414 stairs (no lift) for incredible perspectives of the Cathedral and its arch and the city of Florence and surroundings.
