Draguignan is the town of thirty eight thousand people in south eastern France. It is located in the Var department in the Provecne-Alpes-Cote d’Azur region. Draguignan is a sub-prefecture of the department of Var. In the period between 1800 and 1974, the city was the seat of this prefecture. It is located in a region with a fertile plains, vineyards and olive trees to the south, and to the north-east a rugged landscape with pine forests and green oaks.
