Dessau is a city in Germany on the intersection of the waterways Mulde and Elbe, in the Saxony-Anhalt. Populace of Dessau is 78,000. Dessau is arranged on a beautiful area where the Mulde streams into the Elbe. Waldersee area was flooded in 2002, but until today, there is no risk of floods whatsoever. Dessau is encompassed by various greenery scenes.

3. Dietrich Palace

Dietrich Palace

This palace is located near center of Dessau and it was build between 1747 - 1752. It was the castle of Prince Dietrich and his wife Princess Henriette Amalie. In the years from 1777 - 1793 it served as the seat of Basedow. Today it houses the library of the Anhalt State Library. Library is magnificient.

4. Umweltbundesamt

The Umweltbundesamt is a Federal Environment Agency and its building is settled behind Bahnhof. This glass building was build by Sauerbruch and Hutton. It shows up apparently that the building has no rectangular corner. The building is not open for private visit. It is historic point placed on the busiest crossing point around the local area.

Dessau was initially formed in 1213. It turned into an imperative area in 1570. It turned into the capital of this state inside the Holy Roman Empire. It offers plenty of attractions for all the tourists.
