Curitiba is a capital of the state of Parana, famous for its economic dynamism and exemplary urbanism. Curitiba has only one area for tourists but certainly it has very much to offer! The city is an excellent place for rest and relaxation with family or friends.

1. Museum Oscar Niemeyer

Oscar Niemeyer designed this remarkable museum, which opened in this city in year 2002. Oscar is an architect best known for his contribution to the construction of Brasilia. He is also responsible for the construction of the Museum of Contemporary Art in Nitero and famous church in Belo Horizonte. The museum was designed in the shape of an eye. The Museum presents art and architecture of Oscar magic.

Outstanding high tower with more than 100m in heights offers spectacular views of the entire city and part of the environment. In the lower part of the tower is a museum that displays the phone telecommunications development and telecommunication devices. The tower is closed on Mondays.

Basilica, whose real name is "Catedral Basílica Menor de Nossa Senhora da Luz de Curitiba" is located in the city center. The basilica was built between the 1876 and 1893 on the site of an earlier church.

This mall is named Estacao, which means the station, and its got this name because the place where it once stood is now a big railway station. Shopping mall consists of 180 stores, bowling alleys, railroad museum, the Museum of Pharmacy and puppet museum.

The architecture of the city is excellent and you will be astonished and unlike other cities in Brazil this was not the work of architect Oscar Niemeyer but Kreizbergs.
