What to see in Cruz del Eje

Cruz del Eje is a city and municipality in the province of Córdoba, Argentina, head of the Department Cruz del Eje. It is located northwest of the province in the region between the Sierras de Córdoba and the Great Depression of the desert Salinas Grandes. It is known for its pleasant climate and attractive scenery, located in the area known as the Cuenca del Sol, named for its dry climate and 300 days with clear skies.

1. Jesuitica Estancia La Candelaria

Located 73 km south of the city, it was declared a National Historic Landmark in 1941 and a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 2000, is one of the five Jesuit Estancias of the province.
