What to do in Courtenay

Courtenay is a city on the east shore of Vancouver Island, in the Canadian territory of British Columbia. It is the biggest city in the range normally known as the Comox Valley. It is the seat of the Comox Valley Regional District which supplanted the Comox-Strathcona Regional District.

Gorgeous spot, normally uncrowded as it is a bit away but it is worth it. Salmon Point Bar and Grill is close and here you can dine some tasty fish and chips. You can walk in the forested areas, along the foreshore, sandbanks and small pools that are perfect for little children to play in, and a safe place perfect for swimming. There are a bunch of local bars, including showers, water and food. The entire camping area is extremely well dealt with and great service too. Two moment stroll to the sunny shore, which has a green region and a substantial secured territory, both with lot of open air tables.

Astonishing gathering of ice age reptile bones. Knowlegeable staff who are extremely useful with all the informations you want! The staff were truly friendly and nice. The displays are amazing, and of extraordinary quality. The presentations are educational and engaging. You can buy all kinds of books for more information too.

2. Air Park

Air Park Walkway has some amazing facilites to see. This walk takes you to downtown to Courtenay or south to Royston. Aggregate walk can take 1-2 hours, you can stop here to photograph the nature discovered up and down this lovely shoreline trail. This is a flawless stroll at whenever of the year around the Air Park alongside the stream. Stop at the Park Cafe for extraordinary pie or great breakfast. The porch is incredible in the middle of the year. The Air Park is an incredible place with natural air and a great out entryway stroll with open doors. You could additionally witness little airplane arrival and taking off as you walk pass the airstrip.

4. Kitty Colman Gardens

Garden is a perfect place to stop. If you visit this spot, then you must go to Seal Bay. Seal Bay has something for everybody. Take the circle for a short walk or take your bikes on a great ride through the stallion loop. This is useful for a stroll in the forested areas where flowers blossom. If you come here in winter, the place is magical.

Courtenay is only four kilometers west of the town of Comox, seven kilometers northeast of the town of Cumberland. The city, alongside Nanaimo and Victoria is home to The Canadian Scottish Regiment, a Primary Reserve infantry regiment of the Canadian Forces.
