5. The Busselton Museum
The museum has ten rooms with many displays that show cast memorabilia, photographs and many other artifacts. Everything is included, from agriculture to whaling, travel and transport and much more. Altogether there are 5,000 items so be prepared to take plenty of time to browse.
2. Busselton Jetty
Here you can get an opportunity to walk under water without getting your feet wet. The jetty is 1,8 kilometers long and is the longest timber pilled jetty in the southern hemisphere. It attracts over 400,000 tourists every year. There is also so called Jetty Train Experience, with 50 seats it is a perfect way to enjoy the jetty, especially with the kids. From this little train you can spot local fishermen and also dolphins. There is also Underwater Observatory that can accommodate up to 40 people and is settled 8 meters under the sea, it is the place where you can enjoy the views to corals, sponges and fish. Busselton Jetty is the greatest Australia's artificial reef with more than 300 marine species.
4. Wonky Windmill Farm & Eco Park
This is the place where you can become a friend with many animals, like lambs, rabbits, goats, emus, pigs, ponies and so on. You can feed the animals but also try yourself delicious home made products, like marmalades, pickles, marinated olives, chutneys and olive oils. There are also BBQ facilities and huge lawn areas for the whole family.
The town was settled in 1832 by Bussell family and it has Mediterranean climate with moderate temperatures. Things to do in Busselton are touristic friendly throughout the year.
