1. The Brisbane River
The Brisbane River is a good point to start you trip through Brisbane. It is the place for adventure, since you can go kayaking or paddle boarding. If you are more calming effect, just take a picnic by the river. You can also visit The Kangaroo Point Cliffs, which are great point to see the whole Brisbane River. 3. Queensland Museum
This is museum of natural heritage, natural history, human achievement, science and history. In this place you can feel connect with people of Brisbane and whole Queensland and also with the past, future and present of this region though many exhibitions, public programs and displays. In Queensland Museum there is always something new to see so you can never be bored.
5. St. John's Anglican Cathedral
This is the last neo gothic cathedral that was built in southern hemisphere. The construction begun in 1906 and it was completed in 2006. Most people are thrilled with the interior since it is designed like French Cistercian monastery from 12th and 13th century. Guides will walk you through the cathedral free of charge, even donations are appreciated.
2. Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary
This is the great place to visit with the whole family, if you are willing to feel Brisbane fauna. In this ZOO you can feed and even touch animals, some of them are Tasmanian devil, dingoes, koalas, kangaroos and so on. You can buy food for animals in a local shop and it's very cheap. You can also touch or take a photo with python and watch educational programs with animals. Lone Pine is open daily from 8,30 until 5 pm, so there is plenty of time to see it all.
This is experience rich and permanent science exhibition with rich environment for kids and adults. Their motto is - there are no visitors in Sciencecentre, all are participants. This is great place for children school groups.
Brisbane is a real treasure city and things to do there are mush fun and motivating. It's pretty sure that after visiting this monumental city you will remember it for the whole life.
