1. Niederaussem Power Station
Niederaussem Power Station is a lignite station in the Bergheim possessed by RWE. It comprises of nine units, which were constructed somewhere around 1963 and 2003. It has an aggregate yield limit of 3,800 MW. Niederaussem Power Station is the third most noticeably large power station in Europe.
3. Ville-Seen-Platte
In the region of Erftstadt, Brühl and Hürth a lot of people little and huge lakes have been made because of coal mining. This is area full of oak and larch trees. Today, there are around forty lakes that have sprung Bergheim. There is large production of fresh air.
2. Rheinland Nature Park
Rheinland Nature Park is a nature stop in North Rhine-Westphalia, arranged between Bergheim, Kerpen, Erftstadt and Pulheim. It covers a region of around 880 square kilometers and it is great place for picnic, walk or just a rest.
4. City Library
The town of Bergheim has several libraries and libraries. The largest and most modern is the city library in the center of Bergheim. It was reopened after the move in June 2004. The former city library is operated by the Albert Einstein Junior High School.
Life was discovered here in stone age. In the Middle Ages the town was legislated by the Archbishops of Cologne. Niederaußem got to be later part the area Jülich. In 20. Century, town was formed as a lignite production centre. It is top producer of lignite in Europe.
