1. Residenz Ansbach
Residenz Ansbach, also known as Markgrafenschloß, is a castle in Ansbach where St. Gumbertus and St. Johannis lived. It was the legislature seat of the Margrave of Brandenburg-Ansbach. Today it is the regulatory seat of the legislature of Middle Franconia. Biennial music celebration Bachwoche Ansbach is held here every year. The castle was created from a medieval building. Remains are protected in the northwest wing of building.
3. Margrave Museum (Das Markgrafen-Museum)
The Margrave Museum is a place with collections of distant and not so distant history of Ansbach. Ansbach porcelain production are well known across the world and it has displays of carpets from ancient time. 5. Orangerie im Hofgarten
Orangerie is located in the middle of the train station and the old town. It is completely thrilling spot to use over a weekend. There are numerous parts waiting to be uncovered. The Hofgarten at the Orangerie is an extraordinary spot to relax.
2. St. Johannis Church
The congregation St. Johannis is a Lutheran church firstly recorded in 1139. It was developed by the Bishop of Würzburg. Development started in the second decade of the fifteenth century. It has three entryways. Two towers are from same period, on the mill of Ansbach. Sandstone can be seen underneath it.
4. Animal shelter
Shelter for wild animals was established by non profit association and it open all day where visitors can learn more about their life habits. Siberian tiger is most frightening and most amazing creature of this shelter. On a guided visit you can stroll around amazing mixture of animals.
