1. Museo Arqueológico Provincial de Alicante - MARQ
This infomative and well- presented museum catches perfect insight into archaeologists. Five bedrooms (Prehistory , Iberian culture, Roman culture, medieval history, modern history) show how the first inhabitants of the region lived, as well as explaining the beliefs and customs. Central room offers an insight into the techniques used by archaeologists.
3. Museum of Contemporary Art - Casa de la Asegurada
This museum displays an outstanding collection of paintings and sculptures, the museum is a collection of great artists such as Miro, Picasso, Gargallo, Tàpies, Saura , Genovese Chillida, Dali, Vasarely, Bacon, Braque, Chagall and Kandinsky. There is a collection of famous sculptor Esgebio Sempter.
5. Alicante 's Old Town
Historic Centre of Alicante is an excellent experience for all tourists and returning them to the history of the city . The old buildings in this part of town showing how people lived and what they did, this part inspires artists and walking are excellent.
2. San Nicolás Cathedral

4. Santa Bárbara Castle
Castle of Santa Barbara has played a major role in the history of city. It is believed that the foundations of the castle were build 200 BC by the Carthaginian Amilcar Barca. The castle contains your main room, which date from the 17th century. On the upper terrace of the castle you have a panoramic view of the entire city. The castle is a museum and sculpture dating from the 19th and 20th centuries.
The historic quarter and the castle from the 10th century, Santa Barbara, is in conjunction with the port and the beach creates a harmonious atmosphere.
