1. Park Fort Uhrich
The town invested a lot of money in this area, so now we can gaze outside Fort Uhrich. Inside is still not open to the public because of security reasons. Several sandstone benches have been installed around the fort to allow visitors to take a quiet break. Several informative and entertaining panels are also installed to emphasize the environmental values that represent the outskirts of Fort Uhrich where fauna and flora are very rich. Some panels also trace the history of the site that was part of the defensive belt of Strasbourg that consisted of nineteen military installations whose construction began in the late nineteenth century.
3. Église Saint-Symphorien
The church of Saint-Symphorien is one of three Catholic places of worship located on this town. It is located near the city center, at the end of the avenue Messmer. This building in Romanesque Revival style was built in the current nineteenth century, between 1860 and 1900.

The Friedel animal park is at the heart of the Girlenhirsch recreation area. It is located on hte area of more than 2 hectares. The zoo allows visitors direct contact with a wide variety of pets. It has a farm and barnyard animals, but also many aquatic species. All the tracks within a park are shaded by an impressive variety of trees.
4. Museum of Chocolate
Museum of Chocolate is dedicated to the chocolate. It is located just outside Illkirch-Graffenstaden. This is a dream come true for all of those who love cholocate, especially for the children. But, make sure you don’t overeat.
