The building is located on the main square in the city center near the city assembly. It is a two-story building and was built in Neo-Renaissance style. The building was built as a hotel. The banquet hall is very beautiful with painted ceilings and walls are surrounded by large mirrors. Big room is primarily used to organize concerts and theater performances. The building has had several owners over time. There is currently a complete renovation and restoration.

The Romanian Orthodox community in the Battonya 1868 decided to build its own separate church . Construction of the church began in 1869 and ended in 1972 . The building is 26 m , width 11 m . towers have a height of 32 meters . Churches can accommodate up to 400 people . The most valuable part of the iconostasis of the church sanctuary in 1908 painted B Delliomini . The church has an impressive arch is decorated with five frescs. Special precious decoration of the church is made of polished crystal chandelier with candles hanging from the middle of the ceiling and illuminates the entire building.

This was the first Catholic church in what was then Hungary with the permission of Emperor Franz Joseph I. The church was built 1810. and designed by architect Imre Szotsa . Today, this imposing building with two towers , length 56 m , width 13.5 m , height 16.5 m . The towers are 52 m high . This is the largest and most impressive temple in this area , which renewed the neo - Baroque style . The windows of the church are the work of artists Ferenc Barta and provide wonderful lighting on inside of church . The church has an organ that was dusted 1824. Renovation of the church was done in 1995.

4. House Molnar C.Pala ( Molnár C. Pál emlékház )

Pal C.Molnar the famous Hungarian painter of the twentieth century . Most liked the pictures of saints , beautiful women and horses, and created around 3,000 works . Part of this work is a permanent exhibition in the memorial home. All work in this house is a painter himself gave on the object and choose which images will be displayed . Memorial House Molnar C.Pala C opened in 1984. The memorial house is 45 pictures in oil paintings and 21 prints and all are available to visitors .

Battonya is a small town in Békés in Hungary with 6,447 inhabitants. The place is known as a spa resort and for its tourist sites .
